He was predeceased by: his parents, Alford Gales and Cora McCall; and his sister Margaret Lindsey. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Smith Gales; his son Mitch Gales (Norma) of Thomasville; and his grandchildren, Emily Gales and Sierra Welch.
