It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Duncan of Thomasville, North Carolina, born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Ralph Duncan and Ethel Grainger Duncan; his siblings, Elizabeth Duncan, Grover Lee Duncan and Woodrow "Bud" Duncan; his stepfather Jesse Elbert Norris; and his stepson Ronald Floyd Morris.
He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth Dale Foster (Norman) of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Sherri Wagner of Thomasville and Sammy Strickland, Jr. of High Point; his stepdaughter Kathy Strickland (Sammy, Sr.) of Thomasville; and his nieces, Michelle Loman of Thomasville, Sandra Byerly of Thomasville and Beverly Cranford (Nick) of Thomasville.
