Rita Hughes Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Hollifield, Sr. and Mary Ann Sechrest Hollifield; her brother David Hollifield, Jr.; and her nephews, Andy Rife and Eric Freedle.
She is survived by: the father of her children Joe Hughes of Thomasville; her daughters, Amy Hughes of Thomasville and Stacey Hughes of Blowing Rock; her sister Vickie Johnson of New Bern; her niece Bailey Freedle; her grandchildren, Mackenzie Deese (Brett Deese) of Thomasville and Peyton Sheppard of Thomasville; and her great grandchild Paisley Deese. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and extended family.
Memorials may be given to the Humane Society of Davidson County.
