He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Robert Canty and James Johnson; and his uncle Irving Canty. He is survived by: his parents, Leonard Canty and Betty Nelson Canty of Thomasville, NC; his brothers, Lashaun Nelson (Lakelia) of Manning, SC and Zachary Canty (Courtney) of Winston Salem, NC; his grandmothers, Camilla Canty of Rimini, SC and Fannie Bell Johnson of Thomasville, NC; his nephews, Jordan, Justin, Jasiah and Zayden; and his niece Kelsey. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
