It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rayford Alonzo Ellis of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his mother Elgie Grey Raynor of Thomasville; his children, Melody Deang (Jonathan) of Thomasville and Jonathan Ellis (Amanda) of Thomasville; and his granddaughters, Taylor Ellis, Emilia Deang and Sophie Deang.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
