She was predeceased by: her husband Reece L. Smith, Sr.; her daughter Judy Smith Shue; her siblings, Letha Hatley, Raymond J. Hatley and William V. Hatley, Jr.; her granddaughter Linda Cress; and her great grandchildren, Tiffany Cress and Alex Cress.
She is survived by: her sons, Reece L. Smith, Jr. (Phyllis) of Kinston, NC and James S. Smith (Connie) of Dillon, SC; and her son-in-law Stephen Shue of Concord. She is also survived by five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and beloved nieces and nephews.
