She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Howard Smith and Pauline Sexton Hardy; her son Frederick "Bud" Holt, Jr.; her stepmother Myrtle Smith; and her siblings, Libby, Dee, Glenn, Oscar, Darrell and Craig.
She is survived by: her husband Frederick "Warren" Holt; her children, Gwen Yates of Thomasville, Beverly Messer (Dennis) of Lexington, Cathy Hill (Randy) of Thomasville, Delbert and Bill Holt (Lisa) of Alabama; her sisters, Ernestine Hyatt (Rick), Juanita Proctor, Pixie Cox (Lyman) and Sue Pell; and her grandchildren, Tracy Roche, Chris Houston (Ae), Michael Houston (Kiley), Josh Yates, Kasey Gray (Sam), Danielle Trimnal (Charlie), Jennifer Hill, Josh Hill, Nick Holt (Boomie), Kristyn Holt, Cody Messer (Torie) and Melissa Conrad (Randy).
