It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Saintsing Woempner (Thomasville, North Carolina), who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Saintsing and Annie Craven Saintsing; her husband Marvin G. Woempner; her daughter Sharon Leigh; her siblings, Raeford Saintsing (Ruby), Dallas Saintsing (Margaret), Arville Saintsing (Alline), Bobby Saintsing, Lodena Griffitts (Jessie) and Dorothy Morton (Jim); and her siblings-in-law, Stan Woempner (Ellen), Jerry Woempner, Jack Woempner and Irene Dodero.
She is survived by: her children, J. Scott Woempner (Natalie) of Thomasville, Ken Woempner (Renee) of Thomasville and Karen Miller (Chip) of Raleigh; her grandsons, Daniel, Benjamin Miller, Ken and Ryan Woempner; her stepgranddaughters, Emily and Carly Stokes; her brother Jimmy Saintsing (Mintie) of Sparta, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Saintsing and Alicia Woempner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
