With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearl Brinkley of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 1, 2020 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ambrose Beck and Bessie Myers Beck; her husband Raeford Brinkley; her daughter Dianne Brinkley Catlett; and her siblings, Roy, Howard, Fred, Olin, Gilbert Beck, Mattie, Loma, Ruby, Dovie, Eula, Hida Rae and Lucille.
She is survived by: her sister Evelyn Beck Marion of Charlotte; her daughters, Linda Myers (Bradford), Nancy Jones (Rick) and Kathy Woods; her son-in-law Roy Catlett; her grandchildren, Eric Myers (Pam) of Thomasville, Ryan (Crystal) of Wilmington, Dena Brown (Ken) of Raleigh, Elizabeth Griffin (Phillip) of Marion, Virginia, Amanda Cassetta (Brad) of Thomasville and Amber Tuggle (Jason) of Thomasville; her great grandchildren, Kristen, Erin, Selah, Sadie, EmmyLou, Maggie Mae, Meadow, Michael, Thomas, Zane, Gregory, Wil (Maggie) and Beau; and her great great grandchild Naomi. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pine Woods United Methodist Church, 199 Pine Woods Rd., Thomasville, NC or Hospice and Palliative Care of High Point.
