She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Lee Medlin; and her parents, W. Ross Nesbit and Eva W. Nesbit. She is survived by: her children, Ronnie W. Sherrill (Linda), Crystal Y. Lail (Charles), Curtis D. Sherrill (Traci), Renee S. Medlin (Jerry), Sherri Foster, Tim W. Medlin, Gail and Jeff Medlin. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
