With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Olive Garrett Frye in Thomasville, North Carolina, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on June 12, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore John Lehmer and Zilpha Riggs Lehmer; her former husband Frank Garrett; her husband Gaither Frye; her son Richard Garrett; and her sisters, Louise Melson and Marcia Martig.
She is survived by: her children, David Garrett (Linda) of Wilmington and Marcia Dills (William) of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Julia Dills and Thomas Dills (Evelyn); her sister Margaret Elliott of Las Altos, CA; and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Garrett.
