It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olen Keith Harris Sr. of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Olen has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen James Harris and Eulalia Lou Craven Harris. He is survived by: his children, Olen Keith Harris, Jr. (Karen) and Elizabeth Jane Harris Sanders (Eric); his grandchildren, Joshua Keith Harris, Amber Nicole Harris and Jacob Martin Harris; and his pets, Thomas and Sammy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Holly Hill Wesleyan Church (202 W Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
