It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mittie Frances Lomax (Thomasville, North Carolina), who passed away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Charles Batten and Melton Lomax; and her daughters, Patty Batten Anderson and Alice Faye Batten Kluttz. She is survived by: her sons-in-law, William Anderson (Kay) and George Kluttz; her grandsons, Noah Anderson, Tim Anderson, Chuck Kluttz and Henry Kluttz (Amy); her niece Peggy Ruddock; and her caregivers, Alice Davis and Carolyn Kluttz.
