He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson P. Fitzgerald and Marian Fenstermacher Fitzgerald; his children, Dr. Michael Fitzgerald and Angel Marie Aurand; and his sister Rose Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his fiancée Deborah Schaal Hayes; his children, Travis Aurand, Dustin Fitzgerald (Kayla), Michelle Sipe (Scott) and Rushelle Welch; and his siblings, Rick Fitzgerald, Hope Reich and Sandy Leister (Jack). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
