It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mauricio Paniagua of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 14, 2023, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Emelina Paniagua and Salvador Vazquez-Rodrigues. He is survived by: his parents, Rene Mauricio Paniagua and Yesenia "Jenny" Vazquez; his girlfriend Brooke Berridge of Thomasville; his girlfriend's children, Aniyah and Mckevian; his grandmothers, Elia Vazquez and Socorro Uribe; his siblings, Matthew Rene Paniagua, Vanessa Aguilar and Ureleil Aguilar; his adoptive father Oscar Gutierrez-Uribe; his aunts and uncles, Delfina, Jose, Mario, Ramon, Armando, Ferando and Esmeralda; and also Liliana Vazquez. He is also survived by many extended family members and numerous friends.
