She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Fay Blake and Ella Mae Deaton Blake; her husband James "Cliff" Clifford Brower; her grandson Andrew Sullivan; and her siblings, Neal, Bill, Darrell Blake, Thelma Buckner and Doris Ring.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Hartman (Suzanne) of Trinity and Terri Sullivan (Chris) of Greenville, SC; her stepdaughter Pat Wilkins of Morehead City; and her brother Ted Blake (Linda) of Troy. She is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
