He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lindsey Hedrick and Mamie Clyde Hulin Hedrick; his wife Shelby Jean Wilson Hedrick; and his siblings, Robert, Lou, Ethel and Patsy.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Hedrick of Thomasville, Rodney Hedrick of Thomasville and Stewart Hedrick (Peggy) of Lexington; his granddaughter Courtney Hedrick Glascoe (Jeremy); and his brother Buster Hedrick of Lexington.
