Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lucas Doby of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 40, on June 7, 2021. He was predeceased by: his father John Brondell Doby; his grandmother Gladys Cox "Nannie"; his siblings, Dean Doby and Myra Doby; his uncle Lester; and his aunt Marie Hicks.

He is survived by: his mother Carol Cox Doby of Thomasville; his brothers, Gary Doby of Thomasville and Mike Doby (Dawn) of Lexington; his uncles, Hiram Cox of North Wilkesboro and Tommy Cox of North Wilkesboro; and his cousins, Connie Cox of North Wilkesboro and Chuck Cox of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
