She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Hancock and Allie Hunt Hancock; her children, Bill Summey and Carol Summey; her grandson Robert Hancock, Jr.; her son-in-law Timothy Kindley; and her brothers, Coy, Paul and Oscar Hancock.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Summey of Thomasville and David Summey of Thomasville. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
