He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd J. Smith and Ruby Jordan Smith; and his brother Bobby Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Myers Smith; his daughter Deborah Lynn Smith; his sister MaryEllen Thomas (Jerry); and his grandson Gregory Samuel Owen (Taylor). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. C. Green and Sons Funeral Home (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360).
