It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard Brooks of Thomasville, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on July 19, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Henry Brooks and Edith Adilce Snyder Brooks; his former wife Carol Shuler Brooks; and his sister Betty Efrid. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Norman Brooks; his stepchildren, Michael Wishon of Thomasville and Connie Johnson of Georgia; and his brother Phillip Brooks (Donald) of Bryson City. He is also survived by two step grandchildren and one step great grandchild, five nieces and one nephew.
