She was predeceased by: her parents, David Franklin Sechriest and Era Hughes Sechriest; her husband Julian Reginald Murphy; and her brothers, Roy and Tommy.
She is survived by: her children, David Murphy (Jill), Rodger Murphy, Pat McDaniels, Debbie Swaim (Steve), Sandra Hawley (Rick) and Sharon Whitley (Tim); her brother Bobby Sechriest; and her grandchildren, Rob McDaniels, Brian Swaim, Kevin Swaim, Brandon Murphy, Josh Murphy, Jamie Murphy, Chris Whitley, Stephanie Whitley, Chastity Pifer and Ryan Murphy. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
