She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lacie Buie and Mary Parthenia Thorburg Buie; her husband Marvin Roscoe Rockett (Buster); her brothers, Wayne Buie and Bobby Buie; and her siblings-in-law, Faye Buie, Martha Buie and Charles Boyd.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ed Buie of Thomasville, Harry Buie of Thomasville and Rosa Boyd of Thomasville; her sister-in-law Lillie Grace Buie of Thomasville; her nieces, Rhonda Ingram (Dean), Donna Boyd, Valerie Evans (Pepper), Sharon Fogleman (Brad) and Mary Hodge; her nephew Terry Buie (Dana); and her daughter Vickie Spicer of Lexington. She is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews and more great-great nieces and nephews; many wonderful cousins.
