He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Shaw, Sr. and Aledith Klingsmith Shaw; and his siblings, Charles, Sis, Margaret, Ruth, Doris and Maxine.
He is survived by: his close friend Elaine Shaw; his sister Nancy Venturella of Pittsburgh, PA; his children, Dianne Keller (Karl) of Pittsburgh, PA, Cheryl Shaw Killian of Lexington, NC and Kenneth Shaw, Jr. (Theresa) of Lexington, NC.; his grandchildren, Matthew, Wyatt, Elizabeth, Sierra, Hunter, Alexus, Nolan and Cody; and his great grandchildren, Colson and Jesse.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, Johnsontown United Methodist Church and Cancer Services of Davidson County.
