With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Carter of Thomasville, North Carolina, born in High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on May 23, 2021 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Carter and Allie Hill Wishon; his son Kenneth Carter, Jr.; and his brothers, David, Wayne and Glenn Carter.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Hancock Carter; his daughters, Diane Paige (Lawrence) of Asheboro, Karen Booker and Kimberly Mozingo of Thomasville; his sister Shelby Deweese of Thomasville; and his grandchildren, Aaron Ray Carter, Sean Booker, Seth Booker, Kayla Booker and Kaitlyn Booker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
