With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Flake Skipper of Thomasville, North Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on June 16, 2021 at the age of 92. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Thomas and Katherine Burton Flake; her husband Darrell Skipper of Lexington; her sons, John Skipper and Thomas Skipper (Kristen); her grandchildren, Nicholas Skipper (Rebecca), Clay Skipper, Katherine Skipper and Matthew Skipper; her great grandchildren, Hayden and Whit; and her sister Mary Eva Knight.
