She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ellwood Riggle and Victoria Marie Hutchison Riggle; and her husband Andrew James Rubish. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Jenkins (Jason Jenkins); her grandsons, Justin and Nathan Jenkins; her sister Carole Gayan (Lenny); her niece Daniele Robert (Dave); her stepsons, Michael Rubish (Susan) and Matthew Rubish (Derly); and her grandchildren, Rachel, Luke Rubish and Matthew Rubish.
In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Thomasville or Surry County Animal Shelter.
