She was predeceased by: her parent Arnold Yokley; her daughter Kathy Burgess; her great grandchild Joshua Blane Tucker; and her sister Leslie Eaton. She is survived by: her parent Charlotte Yokley; her spouse Larry Roscoe Embler; her children, Lynn Wishon (David) and Larry Lee Embler; her siblings, Shirley Berrier (Max), Dena Martin, Larry Yokley (Glenda) and Buck Yokley (Sandra); and her grandchildren, Sherry Daniel (Cliff), Brooke Tucker (Josh), Jonathon McMahan (Shannon), David Wishon II (Tonya), Christopher Burgess and Cory Embler.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Hinkle Hospice House of Davidson County.
