He was predeceased by: his parents, John Samuel Kindley and Marie Varner Kindley; his children, Susan Kindley Boswell and David Joseph Kindley; and his siblings, Timothy Kindley, Teresa Grant and Sarah Green.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Burcham Kindley; his children, AJ Kindley (Maleigha) and Abigail Jean Kindley of Charlotte; his granddaughter Peyton Fitzsimmons (Kevin); his great grandchild Rowen Grace Fitzsimmons of Concord; his son-in-law Michael Boswell, Jr. of Thomasville; and his siblings, Kathy Kindley, Sam Kindley, Glen Kindley (Crystal), Charlie Kindley (Loretta), Kenneth Kindley, Phillip Kindley and Brian Kindley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
