He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tate and Erma Tate; his daughter Takisha Drayton; and his sister Joanne Reed. He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Rogers (Timothy) and Tarjar Sinclair of Charlotte, NC; and his sisters, Ora Mae Falls of Lawrenceville, GA and Christine Hoey of Shelby, NC. He is also survived by four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (106 Smith St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
