He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nance and Mary Wall Nance; his wife Mary Ann Childers; his grandson Bryce Nance; and his brothers, Raymond, Charlie and Hall Nance.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Nance Bodenheimer (Tony) of Thomasville and Ken Nance of High Point; his grandchildren, Bryan Bodenheimer (Ashley) of Thomasville and Jordan Smith (Brian) of High Point; his great grandchildren, Landon Smith, Tyler Bodenheimer and Samantha Bodenheimer; and his nephew Tom Nance.
