He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Albertson and Mary Lord Albertson. He is survived by: his wife Margie Dianne Albertson of Thomasville; his sons, John "Joe" M. Albertson Jr. (Joan) and Michael R. Albertson (Connie); and his siblings, Joseph Donald Albertson (Rhonda) and Linda A. Byerly (Laurence). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
