John Havie Norris Obituary

We bid farewell to John Havie Norris (Thomasville, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 23, 2025 at the age of 94. John Havie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Norris and Retha Norris; his wife Virginia Norris; his son Rex Norris; and his siblings, Hazel Spivey, Ronald Norris, Ed Norris, Avery Norris and Violet Creech.

He is survived by: his children, Ginny Blair (Brent), Mark Norris (Shelly), Kent Norris (Lynne) and Rocky Norris (Lisa); his grandchildren, Brian Norris (Scarlett), TJ Norris (Casey), Summer Taylor (Derek), Clint Davis (Krystle), Justin Frank (Rachel), Benjamin Norris, Sydney Wright (Terry), Connor Blair (Kassidy), Brooke Blair, Tori Norris and Tillon Norris; his great grandchildren, Reagan Norris, Caleb Greene, Leah Taylor, Lillie Taylor, Sonder Davis, Lottie June Norris, Aubrey Frank, Rae Frank, Elizabeth Frank, Aubree Wright, Theodore Wright and Bo Blair; and his brother Donald Norris.

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home Chapel.
