He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Geneva Sink and John Wesley Cecil Sr. Jay; his son Don; and his sisters, Fay and Texie Lou.
He is survived by: his daughter Marjorie Lynn Hollingsworth (Mark); his siblings, Bonnie, Jesse (Jancy) of Thomasville, NC, Harold (Nancy) of Thomasville, NC and Dill (Bev) of Thomasville, NC; and his grandchildren, Melissa Miles and Eric Hollingsworth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Gate City Baptist Church, 5250 Hilltop Rd., Jamestown, NC 27282.
