It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Albert Hoover of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hoover and Hazel Stamey Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Jean Lamb; his daughter Sylvia Glenn of Lexington; his grandson Jacob Joel Glenn (J. J.); his siblings, Raymond Hoover of Thomasville and Donna Snyder (Rickie) of Thomasville; and his nephews, Brad Hoover and Joey Hoover.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
