It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Gray Collett of Thomasville, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Kennedy and Etta Burton Kennedy; her son John Robert Collett; her husband Harrell Clinard Collett; and her siblings, Woodrow Kennedy (Mildred), Robert Lee Kennedy (Esther), Shirley Kennedy Murphy (Palmer), Irene Kennedy Payne (Donald) and Louise Kennedy Sink (Leland).
She is survived by: her daughter Jane Collett Black; her grandchildren, Jeni Black Frient (Jeff) of Steamboat Springs, Kevin Black (Kimberly) of Thomasville and Keith Black (Carmen) of Thomasville; her great grandchildren, Camelin, Aleksandra, Noah, Anna, Ellie, Audrey and Tori; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Collett of Thomasville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
