It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Kennedy (Thomasville, North Carolina), born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Garl Kennedy and Margie Johnson Kennedy; and his siblings, Maxine Griffin, Kay Wright, Becky Cirosta, Robert "Bob" Kennedy, Harold Kennedy and Roger Kennedy.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Moore Kennedy; his children, Amy Kennedy and Jeremy Kennedy; his grandson Luke Kennedy; and his siblings, Judy Kennedy, Dean Bumgardner, Carol Bowman, Richard Kennedy, Donald Kennedy and Tony Kennedy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
