He was predeceased by: his father Walter Moose; his half-siblings, Walter "Bud" Moose, Terry Wagner, Becky Myers and Myrtle Staton; and his son-in-law Steve Garner.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Garner, Tracy Bayse (Reggie), Jerri Ann Lewis (Dale Lewis) and Jeremy Moose (Katlin); his siblings, Rene Gobble (Buddy) and Toni Samuels; his grandchildren, Brooke Hames (Zach), Jason Hayes (Erin), Jordan Lewis, McKenzie Lewis, Luke Bayse, Gracie Lewis, River Lewis, Lennox Moose and Maverick; and his friend Café. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be sent to Charity Baptist Church at 6835 Charity Church Lane, High Point, NC 27263 and Hospice of Davidson County at 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC, 27292.
