It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Smith of Thomasville, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Smith and Magdeline Black Smith; and his sister Barbara Hill. He is survived by: his wife Paula Ann Gantt Smith; his sons, Jeffrey Gantt Smith (Carla) of Browns Summit and Russell Dean Smith of Greensboro; and his brothers, Darrell Smith (Judy) of Thomasville and Donald Smith (Ann) of Oak Island, NC..
