She is survived by: her children, Tammy Simmons, Billy Hunt (Lisa) and Scott Hunt (Tammy); her siblings, Lynda, Sharon (Bobby), Gayle, Calvin Johnson (Sharon), Donnie Johnson and Gerald Johnson (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Will "Scooter" Hunt, Brandon Simmons (Lea), Christy Younts (Brandon), Courtney West (Carl) and Brittney Peterson (Alex); her great grandchildren, Madisyn, Kara, Kylee, Dalton, Peyton, Carter, Tristan and Aaliyah; her sister-in-law Judy Morelock; and her close friend Terry "Shorty" Payne.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. C. Green & Sons Funeral Home (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the J. C. Green and Sons Chapel (122 W Main St, Thomasville, NC 27360).
