It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanette Montgomery (Thomasville, North Carolina), born in High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on August 11, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aldene Hankins Brown and Gilbert Hankins; her stepfather Ted Brown; and her daughters, Martha Dene and Rebecca Jeanette Byrd.

She is survived by: her husband Budd Montgomery; her sons, Mark Byrd (Shanda), David Byrd (Annette), Paul Byrd (Judy) and Steve Byrd (Barbara); her stepdaughters, Pam Montgomery, Karen Shumake (Shawn) and Crystal Ray (Stuart); her grandchildren, Andrew Byrd (Laura), Sara Quarty (Brandon), Jared Byrd, Jessica Cromer (Nick), Adam Byrd (Abby), Rebecca Byrd, Nathan Ray, Teagan Ray, Maddie Ray, Bailey Andrews, Gunter Andrews and Dustin Holder (Samantha); and her great grandchildren, Cohen Byrd, Ethan Quarty, Keeley Holder, Zane Holder, Destiny Holder and Tony Holder.
