He is survived by: his mother Margaret McBride Teal; his daughter Schaintikia Leak (Reginald); his grandchildren, Schaintel Robinson and Jordyn Leak; his siblings, Betty Bowden (Bernard), Alvin Teal (Felicia) and James Teal; his aunts, Hattie Bennett (Walter) and Myrtle Hardison; his uncle Lonnie McBride; and his nieces and nephews, Latonya Smith (Chris), Erica Teal, Quanda Dunlap, Jada Duncan, Donovan Teal (Lacie), Cortlandt Teal (Carmen), Julian Teal and Kevin Crowder. He is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews; and many cousins.
