She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Lee Russell and Erma Jean Yates Russell; and her siblings, Ethel Woodlief, Betty Gordon, Jenna Mae Russell, L. A. Russell, Houston Russell, Willis Russell, Robert Russell and Alvin Russell.
She is survived by: her son Robert Michael Chester of Thomasville; her sisters, Dorothy Shaw of Denton, Alma Lea Russell of Asheboro and Patty Parnell (Johnny) of Asheboro; and her grandsons, Kaleb Michael Morrow and Brandon Harris. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church (7811 Pisgah Covered Bridge Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
