James Whitten Sr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2020 we had to say goodbye to James Whitten Sr. (Thomasville, North Carolina), born in Nashville, Tennessee. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Allene Wilkinson Marshall; his adoptive parents, Claude B. Whitten and Alma Whitten; his daughter Teresa Lynn Whitten; his sister Barbara Straatman; his wife Betty Jean Phillips Whitten; his son James "Jimmy" L. Whitten, Jr. of Archdale; and his sisters, Judy Coffman of Lebanon, Donna Bayes of Lebanon, Diane Gorman (Ed) of Nokomis and Jane Diezi (Bob) of Cary, NC. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
