He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Flinchum Stephens and Reva Irene Southard Stephens; his daughter Stephanie Stephens; and his brother Terry Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Stephens; his daughter Jamie Stephens Miller (Dwayne) of Winston-Salem; his grandchildren, Jonathan Miller (Jessica), Brian Miller (Lacy), Amanda Tilley (Michael), Sabrina Johnson (Christian) and Robert Johnson (Bubba); and his sister Linda Buckland. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
