He is survived by: his wife Anita Moats; his children, Christy Anders and James Moats Jr.; his granddaughter Faryl O'Neil; and his siblings, Earl Loye, Gary Lee and Goldie Louise Snyder. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
