It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Houston Beckom of Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 8, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Lee Beckom and Evelyn Barnhill Beckom Stevenson; his wife Glenda Elizabeth Kinley Beckom; and his siblings, Ronnie Beckom, Charles Beckom and Louise Kinley.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin James Beckom (Roseanna) of Lexington and Nathan Lloyd Beckom (BJ) of Lexington; his siblings, Larry Beckom (Shirley) of Thomasville and Charlotte Jean Taylor of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Aiden Beckom, Jack Beckom and Ella Beckom; and his half-sisters, Clara of Denton, Kathy of Denton and Bessie of Denton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
