He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Austin Boyette and Edith Carroll Boyette; his wife Carol Anne Childress Boyette; and his sisters, Diane Boyette and Peggy Foley.
He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Edwards; his granddaughter Christina Manring (Joshua) of Thomasville; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Brandon, Luke, Jackson, Cashlynn and Olivia; and his brother Phil Boyette (Carol) of Salisbury.
