He was predeceased by: his parents, John Madison Thomas and Willie Smith Thomas; his children, Kimberly Floyd and James McCormick; his sons-in-law, Larry Wheeler and Daniel Reid; his siblings, Arthur Thomas, Lillie May Pasley and Inez Bray; and his grandsons, Blake Dodd and Brandon McCormick.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara White; and his children, Diane Wheeler of Calhoun, GA, Darlene Beardon (Mike) of Calhoun, GA, Lamar Thomas (Patricia) of Calhoun, GA, Karen Hancock (Scott) of Lutz, FL, Robin Cranford (Tommy) of Thomasville and Terrie Reid of Thomasville. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson.
