He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Odessa; and his brothers-in-law, Leon Nance and Bert Ritchie. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kat" Ritchie Walker; his daughter Sherri Bowman (Lee) of Thomasville; his granddaughters, Missy Washeck (Seth) of Littleton, CO, Crystal Franklin (Josh) of Debary, FL and Kellee Barbour of Roanoke, VA; his brother Bill Walker of Cambridge, MA; his sister-in-law Billie Ritchie Nance of Thomasville; his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Anson, Makenna, Addison, Micah, Wyatt and Tobiah; his friends, Ted and Larry; and his pet Midnight. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, The Humane Society of Davidson County, or First United Methodist Church in Thomasville.
